fuckin a, can we talk about the weather?

standing on banker street last night, the wind nearly took the breath right out of me. i usually like the cold weather and can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would want to live somewhere that's eternally sunny, but i have to say - i was quite happy to wake up to an email from my friend philip with this picture attached to it:

oh, and the thermals were really good last night (though i've seen better shows of theirs). i still like their earlier albums more than their latest. i probably listen to fuckin a more than anything else. makes me oddly nostalgic for things i don't actually miss (ie: commuting from connecticut to new york for work everyday just before i moved here).
