for my birthday last september, alexis gave me a pigeon pillow. that is me, over there, gazing in to the pigeon's plush eyes.
flash forward to earlier today when i received an email with this link in it. a quick scan of the article in the philly paper and you'll see:
Pigeons Are In
Pop on the Flickr photosharing website and you can see the lovely Jen Carlson posing, blank-faced, with hers. I have no idea who Jen is, but could anyone who poses with a pigeon pillow be half-bad?
yeah, that's my post for today.
oh, and this song is for my brother - who is probably the only person who will appreciate it (and the only person to "get" the title of this post) that reads this blog: pigeons.mp3 - widespread panic
I just realized that it was one of among 7600 Flickr photos I've taken. See? All those uploadings have an effect; they give writers fodder for discussion. :)

Always nice to hear a little Panic.
We've all been waiting
We've been wondering - will we ever know the truth?
What it's like washing windows
When you know that there are pigeons on the roof?

I love pigeons.

Finally! A pigeon you can snuggle with without getting those grotesque skin lesions!
That's a hypnotic photo. I love how things like that can resurface on the Internets in peculiar ways...Yeah, I've talked with more people who thought my blog's name was an allusion to Sumpin' Sekshal. (Maybe I ought to widen my audience by playing up the sex angle... Hmmm... Wonder if that's been done.) But I choose "my friend Todd" - as in most things - to personify the confusion. (The scare quotes are not meant to insinuate that Todd doesn't exist. Todd is my real friend! We saw Kraftwerk together. He was just here a minute ago!)
