weekend

i've been away from my computer for a few days, which has been nice. here's a recap of my weekend, via text and flickr.

friday: murder on my block, couldn't get in to apartment until 2am, cops were flooding my street. spent time at my local drinking cider with lawrence and ryan.
list spots i ate friday night: tom vek and dios malos.

saturday: outdoor brunch on 187th street. saw foliage walking around hudson heights. attended a wedding somewhat by accident. visited some pumpkins in prison. and then went to the paramus mall (sadly no pictures) and veggie heaven. back in manhattan that night i saw demetri martin. swoon.
secret impromptu shows i missed saturday night: arcade fire by the subway stop in union square.
number of cake batter ice cream scoops consumed: 1.25 (sadly though, no gelato)

sunday: another oudoor brunch. then the paper nightlife awards where i saw michael stipe wear a parakeet costume. watched a crazy cabaret performance by the citizens band. had dinner at 10pm (though i thought it was definitely midnight or later when it was happening). then it was time for sleep sleep sleep.
