sunday night
currently i'm eating a ticket to interpol at webster hall. i am exhausted after i somehow ended up at misshapes last night and stayed until the wee hours of the morning. dancing. singing. taking photos from above. here i am posing like a tourist in front of 2 crazy kids having s-e-x.

so i'm skipping a night of music and getting myself organized since i don't plan to have much free time this week. there are a lot of shows. parties. and a lot of my new afterwork hangout, the gym.
so i've been listening to the new franz ferdinand sporadically over the weekend. i'm not in love with it. maybe it's a grower. this song sounds like they're trying to channel the beatles with, at certain points, a slight bob dylan-esque voice...and it's not really working:

Hi there, I am not sure if you know this or not but there is a guy that took a picture from your site and put it on his site.
He has a site "The Most Bangable Blog Babe List"
He also put me on his site and I was actually trying to get his site banned because of the crude comments he makes about the women on there, yours especially.
Here is the link: http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=radmaddog
I am actually glad that I found your blog, its really interesting. I bookmarked you.
Take care. Feel free to check out our band blog.

that piano lead is terrific. i dont enjoy the double vocals on the song, i think single track would be much more intimate. i like how the song is for his girlfriend, singer of the fiery furnaces.
