last night lawrence was silently judging me as he scrolled through my iTunes. when he came upon captain & tennille's "love will keep us together" he told me something i can't believe i never knew before. "love will tear us apart" is a cynical parody of that song.
as everyone knows deborah curtis had those words engraved on ian curtis' headstone, which i find darkly tragic and romantic.
anyway, i am being promised an mp3 of a mashup of those two songs - which i will post if i get.
Yeah, there's a really good mix of those two songs by Malcolm McLaren. Peter Hook from New Order plays it every time he DJs.

I wasn't judging you... Well, okay, just a little. How annoying was I? Pretty bad by my estimates.
Matthew: I went nuts trying to find that mash-up. If anyone has it, please send it to Jen. Then I won't judge her as harshly when I find it in her iTunes.
