a few months ago i was walking home from the post office listening to the new nine inch nails album (despite the fact that it didn't go with the warm, sunny weather and the morning hour.)
i ran in to j near good world and he asked if i wanted to be in their video. they were filming that day. i wasn't in a video shoot sort of a mood though, i was still trying to figure out why the chinatown post office self serve machines never EVER work and why there are always at least 25 people in line and why it's impossible to be in that place for less than an hour.
anyway, for some reason i never watched this video - that's been out for a while now i suppose - but it turned out really great. check it out, there's even a pug in it: hey now now.mov
the cloud room is playing with maximo park @ bowery ballroom this sunday, and i hear that it's now sold out, suckas. the last time i saw maximo park they were playing next to ben brown's hot tub in austin. this is them getting ready in the kitchen. the cloud room sat by the koi pond watching their set.
