last night i had a huge dilema: dirty on purpose / cyhsy / saints + lovers @ southpaw VS. scissor sisters "secret show" @ mercury lounge.
the latter won, it's closer and last night was hot and i am lazy. within 10 minutes of being there i knew i had chosen correctly as i was gazing into the knee-weakening eyes of jordan catalano (or whatever his name is in real life). and by "gaze" i do not mean he was also looking in to my eyes, this was a one way gaze all the way. you know, like the kind that angela chase had with him in the school hallways before they started dating.
after those 5 seconds of my life were over i settled into a nice spot in the back of merc and prepared for scissor sisters. who bumps in to me and spills beer on my american apparel skirt? jimmy fallon, of course. he would later spill more beer on me. but it's okay b/c i love him.
the apiary reports on the spotting and uses a photo i took of fallon's head. yeah, i'm that girl. however, the exciting part of this story is that fallon, like david cross, is opening a bar in the east village. i don't know why comedians are suddenly buying bars in the neighborhood. but i like it.

jimmy falon was there for Morningwood and stayed. Many SnL members have been fans of Morningwood for a while and pop up at there shows quite often.

It couldn't be possilbe that Fallon was there to see former SNL guest Scissor Sisters?
