Q and Not U, who i caught at siren this past weekend (and loved!) has added final shows in nyc. two shows in one day [7 and 11 PM] on sept 20th at the knitting factory. that'll be the last time you'll get to see them EVER in this area. and guess what, it's a day before my birthday.
last friday i got to have drinks with brendan benson. while we were outside smoking cigarettes he mentioned that he thought my (and the roomates) new kitten maddox - who i described to him - was a runt. (please note that i did not bring up the subject of cats with bb). we pondered the idea of eternal kittenhood and that maddox may not ever grow. what do you think?

can't wait for Brendan/ROHS here in 2 weeks, and i'm sad that i won't get to see and Not U one last time, even if i wasn't a huge fan of the last disc for the most part, still a band i loved seeing live.
