seriously, listen

i am writing about ghostland observatory again. deal with it. they are the only band i have been listening to.
i can't stop.
i'm addicted.
they will go back to austin soon. but they're around for another week and i think another shows a brewin'. stay tuned. but for now...
Img_2443
watch them @ the delancey.AVI
get in their heads @ austinist
date them @ consumating
read about their first nyc show as told by ben
ben is who gave me their cd a few months ago and introduced me to them at sxsw. i then asked them to play movable hype and put them in touch with people for some of their other ny shows, hopefully you caught one of them. they are here and after two days drawing bigger crowds than most known local bands. and bowie made a huge mistake by leaving before their set.
janelle said it best when she said they were made for a bigger stage. they were. and i have a strong feeling they'll be on it soon. and i couldn't think of two more deserving people.
i think ben is a little worried they won't come home.

finally, here is a list of bands that are better than ghostland right now:

I thought you said earlier you didn't like lists / charts, because it could lead to "Justin Timberlake beating out the Beatles" for example :-)

i did the three-peat. totally worth it.

GLO are nine kinds of awesome. Three days of love, peace and tight white pants. Such polite chaps too.

très fantastique!

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm hoping someone can help me with a song I have heard on my local college radio station, some of the lyrics are "He beat me he bang me oh then I wish I was single again cuz when I was single my pockets would jingle...." so I hope that someone can give me the band and title of this Thanks
