tonight at the futureheads acoustic set at pianos i didn't have a very good view but i did see one thing quite clearly. this event was sponsored by swatch.
swatch. swatch. swatch. swatch. swatch. swatch. buy a swatch. swatches. you love swatches. buy a swatch. it will save your life. swatch. swatch. swatch. swatch. swatch. you are nobody without a swatch that gives you news updates. swatch. swatch. swatch. swatch. swatch backdrops. swatch cocktail napkins. swatch loves you. swatch loves music. swatch. swatch. swatch.
i remember a time when i listened to my walkman at the bustop. and maybe one day at the bustop i looked down to see what time it was, maybe the bus was late and i wanted to know if i'd missed it. and i had to move my swatch guard over to see the dial clearly. and my swatch was no way at all connected to what i was listening to on my walkman.
or maybe it was and i was ignorant.
actually, the latter is probably closer to the truth.
what's a swatch guard?

i remember swatch guards. totes. i also remember that my swatch, by nature of being made entirely of plastic, used to stick to my wrist and make it all sweaty. yuck. but they were still the coolest, especially if it matched your banana republic safari logo t-shirt (pocket on the front, design on the back).
