gone fishin' in the 4th dimension

i've gone to vermont for the weekend, where they have signs like this taped to the storefronts in town:

L95_1

when i get back, i will attempt to become a fourth dimensional being and travel in time, creating a small rift in the space-time continuum and thusly being able to attend both the hold steady show at bowery and the cloud room cd release party at rothko.
they are on tuesday. and i will be at both. just watch me.
here is one of my favorite songs by the latter band:

we sleep in the ocean.mp3 - the cloud room

when i'm gone, please discuss other ways to travel back in and/or stop time (as the 4th dimension - and especially 4th dimensional beings - are somewhat controversial). keep in mind that time is nothing more than the passage of events, the motion of particles and the existance of anything...if these things stopped, time will stop. you may also take this time to comment on all of the flaws in my statements, because i'm sure there are plenty. i've been reading physics blogs. THEY EXIST. and here are some that i like:

-not even wrong
-the string coffee table (group physics blog) - my future boyfriend (although he doesn't know it yet) posts there. his name is aaron joseph sturmthal bergman, and i hope he uses google.
-quantum diaries (this is really just physicists blogging about regular things)
