last night i went to see annie at the tribeca grand. she had this cool banner that made her seem "edgey", but i maintain after hearing her live that the lettering on that banner should be written in rainbow colored bubble letters by her future 12-year old fans.

it was still a fun night though and the mac & cheese at the tribeca grand hotel is delicious, almost as tasty (and about the same price) as their $8 coronas. the glass elevator is also fun to ride on, and free. [this guy took my picture, but i guess i didn't make the cut]
while i was at annie, my brother was sending me quite frequent text messages from a venue further uptown where he was watching widespread panic. he loves this band more than i've ever seen anyone love a band before. here are some of his texts, maybe you can help the brother out?:
8:20pm "I'm at Panic!"
11:05pm "I need tix 4 saturday"
11:21pm "Can you get tix 4 tomorrow?"
11:28pm "Make it happen"
miracle anyone? he also sent this picture to my phone, which reminds me a little of the pictures i sometimes take at shows...
