did you know there was a band called seymour glass? i didn't. but upon hearing about them i already loved them a little bit because of that name. what makes me hate that band though, is that their first album is out on carson daly's label. yes, he has one. apparently, so i've heard (or read in my in-depth google "research" over the last five minutes), this band sounded a little bit like radiohead...until carson daly killed that sound with his carson daly-ness. i would bet that carson has never even read a jd salinger book. maybe, MAYBE, the cliff notes to catcher in the rye, but that's it. now i will never listen to this band i could have loved so much.

i heard their song abrasion uncommon over the summer. it's pretty good, but i've never heard anything else from them (except that htey toured with kill hannah i think)
