i just wasn't blown away by the kaiser chiefs show last night. the band has a lot of energy and the songs are good but something is missing. i can't put my finger on it. brooklyn vegan seemed to love it though so maybe i just wasn't standing close enough or something. i often have that detached feeling at shows if i'm not right up front. however for a few songs i was right up front, so...i'll just blame it on the rain. like milli vanilli.

Sometimes I have a detached feeling when I'm in the front row....like I'm watching a band as they send their energy way out beyond me.

Me neither! From all the hype, I expected to have my socks knocked off, but they remained in my shoes at all times. Oh well.

Aw...sorry you didn't love it. I went into the show at N6 with pretty neutral expectations and left a much bigger fan. Perhaps they are already a victim of their own hype?

I am a big Chiefs fan, My friends band supported them in Edinburgh last year and i thought they rocked.
