[click to enlarge, although that really won't make them any better]
my thoughts on the evening...
webster hall: most. expensive. drinks. ever.
$9 for a corona!
franz ferdinand: best. band. ever.
franz ferdinand bassist: cutest. thing. ever.
my body as i attempted to (ferdi)dance with the 1 foot of floorspace i had: sweatiest. thing. ever.
funniest comment i heard all night (frat boy to hipster girl as they smoked cigarettes in the rain outside): "i love franz ferdinand. they remind of the strokes and DAVE MATTHEWS BAND." huh!?
karen has a better account from the VIP balcony

Dave: maybe there's something in the water ;-)
The Franz Ferdinand show in Toronto was awesome! Check out my review and my one pic of the Franz Ferdinand guitarist that acutally came out (dark venues and disposable cameras do not work well together).

all i can say about that show is:
A) it was totally fucking awesome
B) it was totally fucking awesome despite the many idiots in the crowd who were incredibly high maintenance and had clearly shampoo'd and blown-out right before getting dolled-up and heading to the show and didn't understand that if you leave a giant space in front of you, someone will stand there and you aren't allowed to bitch about it all night
C) it was totally fucking awesome despite that standing in the center of the floor near-ish the front was waaaay scary when the dancing started and the floor bounced (oh yeah, and mosh pits? it's not retro, it's lame, losers-who-were-too-young-when-it-was-popular-but-equally-annoying)
D) it was totally fucking awesome
